For these courses, I attended an intense 2 week face-to-face session on the Michigan State Campus and then 4 weeks online portion. Rather than seprating each course, they were taught in a combined manner. The course touched on the different theories of learning, repurposing technology in order for it to be integrated into education and discussing various educational research.

CEP 811 Adapting Innovative Technologies to Education

CEP 810 Teaching for Understanding with Computers

Summary: This course introduced me to the technology basics and how to incorporate them into the educational setting. I learned many new technologies, such as Glogster, Storybird and Prezi and then how to better incorporate technologies I already use, such as powerpoint, the Internet, and GoogleDocs to name a few.
